With over 30 years of fire service experience, including leadership as a Fire Captain, Ed brings a depth of knowledge and a safety-focused perspective to every home inspection. He is certified in the State of Florida as a Fire Investigator and Fire Inspector II, providing a strong foundation in building construction and code compliance.
As a licensed home inspector and InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI), he applies that real-world experience to deliver thorough, detail-oriented evaluations that help clients better understand the condition and safety of their homes. He is also a member of the Florida Home Watch Association, reinforcing his commitment to professionalism and industry standards.
In addition to his inspection work, he remains actively involved in the fire service community. He serves as an instructor at the Suncoast Technical Institute Fire Academy, helping train the next generation of firefighters, and is an active advocate with the National Fallen Firefighters
Foundation. He also continues to serve as a Public Safety Diver Instructor with multiple local response agencies.
His combined experience in emergency services, building systems, and inspections provides clients with a unique level of insight, professionalism, and confidence throughout the inspection process.

With over 27 years of fire service experience, retiring as a Deputy Fire Chief, he has developed an extensive understanding of building systems, emergency response, and operational oversight. In addition, his experience as a partner in a local construction company provides him with indepth knowledge of construction practices, plans, and design.
